Here at The Best Connection we are recruiting for Purchasing Administrator to join our client in central Basingstoke.

Responsibilities of a Purchase Administrator

  • Utilise Office 365 tools, particularly Excel, for data entry and analysis.
  • Work with a Sage 200 system.
  • Is comfortable to contact suppliers for invoice queries.
  • Work with goods in and resolves queries.
  • Can process and expedite purchase orders as required.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Working effectively in a team and using initiative.

Requirements of a Purchase Administrator

  • Must have good Office 365 knowledge
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 is beneficial but not compulsory.
  • Previous experience with administrative tools.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
