Position: General Operative/NDT Technician
Salary: £14.10 per hour
Hours: 74-hour fortnight
Shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Potential Temporary to Permanent Position
Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Operative/NDT Technician to join a dynamic team in Accrington. This role offers an exciting opportunity contributing to high-quality production and maintenance processes.
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aerospace components.
- Operate and maintain equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Wash and clean machine parts and production pieces.
- Move boxes and lift goods as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work across different shifts (days, nights, weekends), some shift rotations don't include weekends.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving goods.
