We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to work with our well established client in Burton-on-Trent.
- Site Services Operative – Yard Team
- Location: Burton on Trent- DE14
- Contract Type Temporary
- Employee Working Days: Monday - Friday
- Working Times Between 07:00-15:00 (7.5 hrs/day + 30 min break)
- Shift Pattern: Days 07:00-15:00
- Working Hours per Week: 36
The main purpose of the role is to:
- · Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility and outdoor areas (sweeping, jetting, mopping, dusting) as per contract requirements and standards.
- · Attending to minor spills
- · Carry out PPM cleaning as per schedule and standards (i.e. emptying and cleaning smoking shelters, etc.)
- · Moving and/or removal of items, furniture, and equipment around the site.
- · Driving company van.
- · Segregating material to correct waste streams.
- · Preparing and packaging recyclable materials for despatch.
- · Keeping the area tidy.
- · Procuring daily and weekly checks of skips within the areas.
- · Provide a high level of customer service at all times including handling ad hoc enquiries from Helpdesk users and other customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- · Reporting completed jobs as per process.
- · Undertake other duties within the Site Services Team to cover the rota requirements.

- · Complying with the company's corporate environmental policy, and statutory regulations on Safe Systems of Work, hygiene, Health and Safety, cleanliness, fire, COSHH and site rules.
- · Willingness to input additional hours as per business requirements.
