The Best Connection is now recruiting a Cat B Driver on a temp to perm basis for one of our clients looking for reliable and professional Cat B drivers to join their friendly delivery team. If you're passionate about excellent customer service, enjoy driving, and don't mind some heavy lifting, this is the perfect role for you. Help bring beautiful, custom bedroom solutions directly to customer's homes while representing a trusted and respected brand in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.

Shift Details:

• Start Time: 05:00
• Finish Time: 14:00
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Duration: Temp to perm after 12 weeks Potential Based on Initial assessment - Potential for ADHOC.
• Upon going permanent a contract of 50 hours per week will be offered for a salary of £37,250 PA.

Pay: £13.00PAYE

Job Overview:

• Deliver bedroom furniture to customers houses using a Cat B vehicle.
• You'll be working as a drivers mate to assist with unloading - manual handling. Hybrid role where by when the routes are larger you'll be assisting with the HGV crew.
• Routes will cover various UK locations starting from Crawley.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-operation) ensuring safety and compliance.
• Follow a set delivery schedule, liaising with dispatch for efficient routing.
• Ensure all deliveries are made professionally and safely, adhering to company and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Category B Licence
• Must be able to heavy lift
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and progress within the role.
