Job: CAT C Driver
Location: Horley
Pay: £16 PAYE
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2 Drivers for one of our clients In Horley.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, Digi tacho and CPC card.
Our client is an nationally renowned company who are looking to add Class 2 drivers to their team during the peaks for ongoing work.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 0600-1500 but start and finish times may vary.
Alternate Saturdays: 06:00 12:00 during peaks.
Rate of Pay:
£ 16 PH PAYE
£ 20 UMBRELLA
Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver:
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Horley to various locations the UK. Delivery of heavy goods and fuels weighing up to a max of 42kg, hand ball and sack barrow use for a very hands on and manual role.
- Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy.
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:
- Category C Licence.
- CPC.
- Digi Tacho.
Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
