Class 2 Skip Driver - Darlington - Immediate Start (26/02)

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of our client based in Darlington. This Class 2 Skip Driver position is with a well-established waste management company, known for delivering tailored waste solutions to meet customer needs. Operating a modern fleet and state-of-the-art facilities, they provide efficient, reliable total waste management services across the region.

Start Date: 26/02

Pay Rate: £14.77 per hour

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) skip vehicle
• Skip and RORO (Roll-On Roll-Off) work - RORO experience is essential
• First day will involve completing paperwork and carrying out walk-around checks of the site and vehicle
• Ensuring all vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedures
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

The Candidate:

• Valid and in-date Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Previous RORO experience
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30am start time
