Following instructions from your Embroidery Department Manager, you will be responsible for:
Heat seal application
- Printing and cutting vinyl transfers so they are ready to be applied to garments
- Unpackaging garments so they are ready for heat application
- Lining up garments correctly with the transfers under the heat seal machine to ensure the transfer is applied correctly.
- Checking job sheets for relevant information including, logos, sizes, products
- Picking garments
Embroidery role;
- Loading templates on the embroidery machine
- Framing material ready for embroidering
- Setting the embroidery machine to the correct functions and loading with the correct colour threads.
- Tearing away backing, folding, bagging and packing garments
- Maintenance of equipment including replacing needles, cleaning and oiling machinery
- Ensuring high level of productivity and working efficiently to maximise output
As well as the above the candidate must have a good eye for detail, be able to work in a small team in a fast-paced environment. Past experience in any of the above is a plus however not crucial – our client are willing to provide full training.
Working hours / pay rate:
- 8am - 4pm, Mon to Thurs and 8am – 1pm Friday (Out of peak season)
- Fri 8am – 4pm (In peak season)
- £12.21 - £12.85 per hour
