The Best Connection Newport is currently seeking Class 1 (HGV/LGV) Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in the Chepstow area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with a Thursday to Monday rota and competitive hourly pay.

Job Details:

• Shift Pattern: Thursday to Monday
• Start Times:
  • Days: Between 06:00 - 10:00
  • Nights: From 17:00 onwards
• Pay Rates:
  • Days: £17.00 per hour
  • Nights: £18.00 per hour
  • Saturday: £19.00 per hour
  • Sunday: £20.00 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: £21.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Ongoing, full-time
• Location: Chepstow

Requirements:

• Valid Category CE (Class 1) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional attitude

Duties May Include:

• Local and regional trunking or delivery work
• Ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods
• Completing necessary paperwork and vehicle checks
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and road safety
