Contract: Full time

The Best Connection are looking for Assembly Operatives for our client based in Brigg, transport is essential, public transport is not accessible within shift times. Our client is one  the leading manufacturer of composite doors in the UK. 

Assembly Operative 

Ongoing - Temp to Perm following a banding pay scale after a succesfull probation

4 day working week rotating on one of the shifts

The shift pattern is;

Week 1 : Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00

Week 2 : Monday - Thursday 14:00-Midnight 

Responsibilities 

  • Lifting heavy composite doors (up to 20KG) very physical 

  • Interpretating measurements 

  • Checking label's and using hand held scanning devices

  • Fitting hardware to doors such as letterbox, handles, locks and hinges 

  • Cutting doors to size and hanging 

  • Training to operate a CNC machine to profile bespoke orders 

Requirements 

  • Good attention to detail 

  • Written and spoken English 

  • Ability to lift up to 20KGS 

  • Happy to work in a dusty and loud environment 

  • Ability to interpret measurements 

  • No previous experience is required full training given
