Inflight Goods Pick and Packers

The Best Connection are looking for multiple Pickers and Packers from June 2024 for our client based in Crawley who cater and supply food services to London Gatwick Airport.

ROLE: Pickers and Packers
SALARY: £11.96
SHIFTS: 4 on 2 off, shifts between 0600-2300.

BENEFITS: Free on-site meals, training and uniform provided

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking orders with the use of hand held scanners
• Packing the orders and loading them onto trays ready for dispatch to Gatwick Airport
• Performing security checks on the airline carts to ensure no hazardous goods go onboard the plane.
• Completing paperwork and recording details on serial numbers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good level of written and verbal English
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently once fully familiarised with the role
• Will need to sit and pass their GSAT (General Security and Awareness Training)

As you will be partially working at Gatwick Airport you would need to undergo the following:

• Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
• Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
• Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
• Provide a full 5-year address history • Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!)
