Maintenance Electrician

The Best Connection is currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician for our client based in Guildford. This is a 12 week Temp-Perm for the right candidate.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 0700-1630

Friday - 0700-1230

Pay: £14.00ph

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Electrician:

• To ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
• You’ll be involved in a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. Working on various types of equipment including electrical/electronic control systems
• You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site.

Requirements of a Maintenance Electrician:

• Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Electrical Engineering along with the 18th Edition qualification (Desired)
• Good working knowledge of electrical engineering within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
• A flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements
• Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
• A clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role
