The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client based in Burntwood. The company specialises in producing steel to go out to various industries. This position will be a temporary position to start so the client can see if you are right for the role and then go permanent once the client is happy you are capable to carry out the role. IMMEDIATE START FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW IS AVAILABLE.
You will be working at the end of a slitting line using a 25 tonne over head crane. Banding steel coils with a banding gun and using the cane to off load from the machine to despatch area or onto truck to go out for delivery. Care and attention will be need when moving the product around due to the weights.
No certificate is required, but experience of working with cranes handling 25 tonnes and above is essential for this role.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO A DBS CHECK AT NO COST TO YOU FOR THIS ROLE.
Hours of work will be Mon - Thur: 13:00 - 22:00
