Production Manager

Our client, a major Engineering Manufacturer our is looking to recruit for a Production Manager to work out of their site in Watford.

Main Duties include:

• 30% office based , 70% in the workshop
• Must be physically fit and as it's a physical demanding job
• Small business so everyone helps out where they can , hands on role
• Would need experience in Welding/ Engineering/Fabrication/ engineering excavator
• Would be helping with Technical support / doing stock take & orders / stock control
• Checking in on progress
• In charge of plasma cutting -is a melting process in which a jet of ionised gas at temperatures above 20,000°C is used to melt and expel material from the cut.
• Responsible role so the right candidate is important
• Experience is important
• Making sure Health & safety is being followed in the workshop

Shift:

• Monday to Friday 08:00am till 16:30pm – 40 hours a week
• No overtime unless for business needs

Requirements

• Must have your own mode of transport to get to work for example bike, car, motorbike etc
• Must be physical fit due to this being a heavy lifting role
• Experience on a Counterbalance & Reach Forklift - don't need an in date license as you would be happy to put the right candidate through training
• Would need experience in Welding/ Engineering/Fabrication/engineering excavator

Pay Rates

• Starting salary from £35,000 – Dependant on experience
