Steel Operative

Contract Type: Temporary, Full time
One of our prestigious steel clients, located in central Scunthorpe, next to the town center is looking for a steel operative to work permanent nights.
This is an ongoing position that can lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This will be a permanent nightshift doing:
- 22:00 - 06:00
The starting pay rate will be £12.60 Per Hour plus a night shift allowance.
The Ideal candidate should possess the following:
- OHC Licence (over head crane)
- Warehouse Experience
- Long Products steel Experience
- Good Knowledge of Health & safety
- Loading / Discharging Loads
- Tug Unit / Shunting Experience.
- Digitast Experience ( not Essential Training given ).
- SAP Knowledge
The Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operating an over head crane
- Loading and un-loading Trailers
- Shunter Driving
- Adhering to all aspects of Health & Safety, set by the Company
- Stock replenishment, in line with the correct rotation of stock
