Trainee CNC Punch Press Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a trainee CNC production operative to join one of our established clients in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
Working with wood, this is an opportunity to learn and use computer technology and programming software to manufacture bespoke timber products.
The role will include basic operation and set up of CNC machines, programming and the use of fixtures and jigs. Using CAD & CAM software to programme and draw parts on a variety of CNC machines with full training provided.
Once fully trained, the general duties will include:
Loading CNC and semi automated machinery
Changing machine programmes
Changing fixtures & Jigs
CAM & CAD work
General production duties
The shifts are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:45.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a "can do" attitude, be computer savvy and have a hands on approach. Temp to perm opportunity for hard working and reliable candidates.
Additional Benefits & Requirements
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
