The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a dedicated Part-Time Van Delivery Driver to join one of our clients as a part time delivery driver on Mondays. This role is perfect for someone who loves the idea of making a positive impact in their community, enjoys driving, and is looking for a flexible work schedule. Primarily a Monday only role, this role may offer overtime throughout the week at times if you are looking for extra days.

Job Description
As a Part-Time Van Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in the operations by delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to schools in the Kent area. This is a multi drop role involving some goods that may weigh up to 25kg.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport fruit and vegetables from our warehouse to designated schools in the Kent area.
• Load and unload produce in an organised and careful manner to ensure quality is maintained.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues.
• Provide excellent service and maintain positive relationships with school staff.
• Comply with all traffic and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (No more than 6 points).
• Experience in delivery driving preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift and move stock (up to 25kg).
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Friendly and positive attitude, with good communication skills.
• Must be available to work on Mondays.
