Weighbridge Operative

Contract Type: Temporary, Full time
The Best Connection are currently looking for a weighbridge operator to join our busy client based in Southfleet
You will be working 5 out of 7 days on a weekly rota. Must be flexible to work weekends
Shift times will be 07.30- 17.00
Pay is between £11.44- £13.00, dependant on experience
Duties include:
- Ensure all vehicles carrying goods are weighed on entering and exiting the site
- To ensure that all drivers that report to the weighbridge receive site rules.
- Ensuring the safe use of tools and equipment
- Assisting management to control and co-ordinate a safe and efficient operation of site in accordance with health and safety and also waste management
- To assist customers where needed
Previous weighbridge or waste experience and an understanding of hazardous waste would be an advantage
Must have strong IT skills with basic experience with excel
