HGV Night Driver

The Best Connection are working with our BILLINGHAM based client to source additional LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) NIGHT SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available
The role:
- Starting at the Billingham hub you will be driving across the country to deliver goods using box trailers.
- There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
- The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
- All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
- Achieving delivery slots
- Using website-based delivery scheduling
- Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork
Hours of work:
- 18.00pm - 06.00am
- 7 day working
The candidate:
- C+E (Class One) Licence
- In date CPC and DIGI Card
- Experience using box trailers preferred
Pay Rate:
- £15.67 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked
- Saturday and Sunday are part of standard working week
